About the Artist

Mainie Jellett (1897–1944) was a Dublin-born painter who studied under André Lhote and Albert Gleizes, absorbing modernism while keeping one foot in Ireland's artistic soul. She died tragically young, leaving behind a body of work that feels deeply personal and visionary.
