Bád Eddie has sat rusting into Magheraclogher Beach near Bunbeg for decades, and somewhere along the way it stopped being a wreck and became a landmark — one of the most photographed spots on this stretch of the Donegal Gaeltacht coast, especially at low tide when the hull sits fully exposed.

This photograph catches it at the hour photographers actually go there for: the last light turning the rusted metal amber against the darkening water.
