Francis Wheatley's Salmon Leap at Leixlip, painted in 1783 — nymphs bathing below the falls, as an archival art print, framed or unframed.
Wheatley (1747–1801) spent the years 1779–83 in Ireland; the falls on the Liffey at Leixlip, where salmon once leapt upstream, were among the sights of the Georgian countryside, and he painted them with the idyllic calm of the age.
