James Gandon's Custom House seen from the Liffey — drawn by Samuel Frederick Brocas and engraved by Henry Brocas the Younger, in the National Gallery of Ireland, as an archival art print.
Completed in 1791, it is Dublin's neoclassical masterpiece — the long river front, the dome, the reflection in the water — recorded here by the Brocas family, the great engravers of the Georgian city.
National Gallery of Ireland Collection.
